Island Air Express offers regular, scheduled IFR service between Ketchikan and Klawock. This service gives you access to the communities and numerous adventures on Prince of Wales Island. Amphibious charters are also available to provide you easy access to Alaska’s breathtaking, rugged wilderness.

Ketchikan, Alaska
Island Air Express provides daily scheduled flights between Ketchikan & Klawock.
Ketchikan flights arrive and depart from the Ketchikan Airport, located on an Island just across from Ketchikan. The airport is serviced by a passenger/vehicle ferry that departs every 30 minutes. All passengers at our Ketchikan facility have access to our complimentary Wi-Fi. There are car rental companies located in the terminal areas as well as an espresso stand, bar, gift store and snack shop.
Craig/Klawock, Alaska
Island Air Express provides daily scheduled flights between Ketchikan & Klawock.
The Klawock Airport is located 3 miles north of the city of Klawock and 8 miles north of Craig. All roads between the Klawock Airport, Klawock, and Craig are paved. The drive between Craig and the Airport takes about 15 minutes. There are also taxi companies that provide transportation between the Klawock airport and the Craig/Klawock area.
Passengers at our Klawock facility enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, in addition to coffee, tea, and bottled water. Car rental companies are located in both cities, and most of the car rental companies in the Craig/ Klawock area will meet you at the airport with your car or SUV. Upon departing the island, rental cars can also be checked back in at the Klawock Airport.

El Capitan Lodge
Known for providing its guests with “The Ultimate Alaskan Adventure,” El Capitan Lodge is nestled within the pristine Sea Otter Sound on Southeast Alaska’s Prince of Wales Island. It boasts excellent salmon and halibut fishing from fully equipped, custom built boats operated by knowledgeable guides.
Sea Otter Sound Lodge
Located 100 miles by plane northwest of Ketchikan, Sea Otter Sound Lodge is nestled in a cove on the north side of Heceta Island in Sea Otter Sound. The fishing experts at Sea Otter Sound promise guests the fish-catching adventure of a lifetime, specializing in guided trips for monster halibut, ling cod, king salmon, silver salmon, pink salmon and yellow eye or black bass.
